Lead Generation Tool NterNow Wins National Safety Award
ATLANTA, GA (February 17, 2017)—The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) awarded NterNow of Marietta, GA with the SAFE Innovation of the Year Award during the annual SAFE Awards held during the 2017 International Builders Show in Orlando.
The NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) recognizes member companies, workers and other individuals for the excellent safety programs that make them leaders in the residential construction industry.
“Safety is no longer an afterthought in our industry. Our employees and our reputations are too valuable to put at risk,” said NAHB Construction, Safety and Health Committee Chairman Carl Harris, a builder and the co-founder of Carl Harris Co. Inc. from Wichita, Kansas. “Safety should be in forefront of every project, from budget through completion, and we wish to recognize those individuals and companies that have demonstrated a commitment to safety above and beyond the industry standard.”
When asked why NterNow, an innovative lead generation system, applied for the NAHB SAFE award, Lynne Davis, CEO & Founder said, “In our industry, attractive, well-dressed sales women and men work in isolated areas often by themselves and interact with strangers. We wanted to bring to light the high-risk nature of the new home sales agent’s job and we thank the SAFE award judges for affirming this. Too often agents are being car-jacked, assaulted, robbed, kidnapped, shot, stalked, and murdered. If our system makes the work environment of even one agent safer, we rest easier.”
NterNow allows visitors to independently tour vacant locked homes without an agent present. If a stranger sets off an agent’s stranger-danger intuition, they can send them to use the NterNow system instead of showing the home themselves. Once the visitor places a call to NterNow, even if they hang up before their identity is verified, they’ve left a time-stamped trail as to who they are and when they were there.
In addition, with NterNow, new home onsite agents no longer have to lock up open homes at the end of the day, often in the dark when someone could be lurking. With NterNow, homes stay locked all day yet accessible to the public and showing agents.
